Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I just wanted to ask if you all were aware that any time you purchase ephedrine products by mail-order, the company must submit a report with your peronal info to the DEA. Anyone know anyone busted for ordering too much ephedrine? I just ordered 750 tabs of pure ephedrine (not sure how much longer the stuff will be available). Anyone think that is too much? Bloody assholes, can't even buy cold medication anymore without fear of big brother.

It can't be pure Ephedrine bro. There is probably Guifenisen added. I know that pure Ephedrine powder is on the DEA's list of Methamphetamine precursor chemicals, and ordering that shit will have the Feds at your door with a nice controlled delivery, as it is highly illegal. I don't se how pure ephedrine TABS(again though, I would guess that they aren't pure) wouldn't fall into the same "precursor" category as the powder. Be carefull.
You can order pure ephedrine tabs with nothing added in.
The company requires you to send them a copy of your drivers license, social security card, and you have to sign something.
Seems like way too much of a hassle and invasion of privacy.......I'll just stick with the tabs that are mixed with Guifenisen.

You better watch out... Thats enough to catch a charge in most states. You might want to check your state laws. This is the law in the state I live in:

HB 1417 makes it a felony for consumers to purchase large quantities of pseudoephedrine, ephedrine, norpseudoephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine. The drugs are commonly found in cold remedies and appetite suppressants, but are also used to manufacture methamphetamines. The new law specifically restricts the sale of products containing the above-mentioned drugs to single transactions of package sizes that contain no more than three grams (about 96 pills). It also restricts the sale of those products to anyone under the age of 18. Law enforcement officials who testified for the bill said the measure would cut off a major, legal supply of a needed ingredient for the illegal manufacture of the drug methamphetamine.

My guess would be that the amount you stated would be enough to get an "intent to manufacture a controlled substance" charge.

Ephedrine is not illegal (the kind with the guaefinesin and other stuff added) I just wouldn't order 750 tabs at once. If you want a lot, order several small amounts throughout several months. I don't know if they (dea) keeps tabs on what you order or not but just to play it safe, I wouldn't get that much.

That sucks boyz. I just ordered 1000 ephedrine (25mg) and 1000 caffeine about 3 mos ago. I think that in Canada, you can only buy the 8mg tabs now. They've changed the law since I bought mine. But we can still get them, and they work like a muthafucka!!!
