It seems like every post here is shitting on dbol only cycles. Everyone has the same 2 opinions:
1) have to use test with it
2) you can't keep gains and need to use it only as an accessory drug to bigger stacks

I'm curious as to how many of you guys have done dbol only cycles and aren't just reiterating what other people post on this board.

As someone who has used dbol by itself several times in the past and kept the majority of strength/size gains without using clomid (just a tapering - this was a long time ago), I can't help but think that the majority of people are not speaking from experience.

I've seen posts from other guys who got the same good results I did using dbol by itself. Do you guys actually believe dbol would have been the drug of choice for decades if it sucked so bad and only provided temporary gains?

I'm sort of ranting but I just can't believe I'm in such an unbelievable minority as one of the few humans capable of using dbol by itself effectively. Anyone else like dbol here?
 
I believe the reason people say you'll crash on d-bol only cycles is that the majority of these cycles are done by newbies you don't know what their doing. I'd like to see a vet complete a d-bol only cycle and see if they crash.

Also, it's been said on here that short ester compounds are better at the end of a cycle for keeping gains, so if you have clomid, I don't see why you should crash.

The real issue with Dbol is that half of your weight gain is going to be water. If first-time users aren't aware of that fact then they'll be quite dissapointed when they piss away half of their gains a week later.

I've read in a number of places that gains are 2-3 lbs/week and gains stop after about 6 weeks. 10lbs is nothing to sneeze at but it seems like a waste of time when taking the bloat into consideration.

What were your gains like on Dbol only?
 
most is water, I keep about 30% off of gains with a d-bol only cycle, much better then anadrol cycle. Anadrol cycle I admit I can't keep hardly anything most is water, and keep about 10%, so d-bol only cycle is all I would do. I like the price of d-bol for an oral thats why I use it so much.
 
first time i took a decent cycle i took d-bol and primo. i gained about a good 15 pounds and kept about 8 or 9. to me these are great gains, but every new comer has to remember that the water retention is going to add a good 8-10 pounds and they must remember that their peak was a facade. the net gain is what is important. a net 5-8 lbs is a really good gain of solid muscle. i am sure that alot of you guys will agree that even after you come off and lose the water retention, you still look better then when you started! and thats a fact!

2) 10-20mg daily for 3.5 weeks - 15lbs. total netting around 11 after a 3-5 month period. No clomid.

Obviously I prefer short low dose cycles but this method was effective for me. I gain well off cycles like this or 200mg of deca weekly.

Better yet - taper the dbol into winstrol or anavar, harden up your physique for a few weeks and hold 100% of gains.
 
Over the years i've done a few dbol only cycles, aswell as some stacked.... i find that when i'm on dbol alone, i dont retaing much water, almost no bloating or side effects, i've gained about 7 kg's of a dbol only at 30 mg/day and kept 5-6 kg's, i consider that good!

but i guess it's up to each individuals reaction to the drugs, i for one, am very sensitive to deca induced gyno, even at 200 mg/day i got itchy nipples....
 
i just started a low dose anavar (30mg ED) and dbol (15mg ED) cycle. i'm also taking proviron to keep the bloat/gyno away.

in the first week, i'm up 3 pounds, with a small decrease in my waistline (the main place i accumulate fat), and the little bit of fat on my pecs is going away. no sides other than the dbol doze - extra carbs help.

i'll run the dbol another 3 weeks then taper it down, and then taper the anavar down for a couple of weeks after the last bit of dbol. i do have clomid, but i really want try the taper method rather than deal with the clomid sides. we'll see how much weight i retain.

i don't remember who used this analogy, but it's a great one. when you hear people complain that they "only" kept 6 or 8 pounds from their cycle, think of what 6 - 8 pounds of steak looks like spread out on a table.

if i can gain and keep 6 - 8 pounds from the above light cycle, i'll be a happy camper.

I've done d-bol only cycles...back in the day when it was legit made in the US. Yes i lied it, yes it was the drug of choice back then... but that was back then
I think what most people mean, in their own way, isnt that d-bol is just plain shitty. there are just better options out there for today.

I liie fishsticks little oral only cycle. good luck fish!!
 
I did my first cycle about 6 months ago using only reforvit-b for 8 weeks. I was weighing 155lbs. at the time. By the end of the cycle I weighed 175, gaining 25lbs of muscle and lost 5lbs of fat. Within 2 weeks of discontinuing usage I only lost 5lbs (mostly water) and kept everything else for the last 4 months. I had clomid, but I did not use it. I'm not saying it would not be better to stack with something else, just that my d'bol only cycle worked for me.
 
well im gonna join the club I've done dbol only cycle too and love them I always keep 90% of what I gain and recovery is much easyer
 
My first course with with Dbol only because that was the only thing available to me that I didn't have to inject and I could afford. I get alot stronger and did gain weight from it but I honestly didn't get that much muscle from it. I was only using 20 mgs a day which in hindsight was not very much but I have always found test and deca to be better more muscle gain.

so far so good. i actually got a lot of great input from madcow and iron game.

however, if it continues to work well, i'm going to say i thought it up myself, and take the joe weider approach and trademark the name ("Fishstick's Mellow Cycle Method"). then, i'll charge royalties to anyone else that wants to try it!:):)

I'll sue for plagarism and take 1/2 the royalties!!! I may even demand some of your gains back and have the judge put you on a starvation diet post cycle!!!

PS - the lbs. of steak analogy was mine but I got it from somewhere else. Probably a muscle mag or book in the early 90's. Hope the real author doesn't sue me.

Excellent observation. Most people on here will just regurgitate "knowledge" which they've read. I say, dont respond to a thread unless you have personal experience with it. I only give out advice on stuff which I've tried, and this place would be much better if everyone did that.

My friend finished a 5 week dbol only cycle, 50mg/day and finished with clomid. It's been 2 weeks since he's off and still has 24lb from his ~30lb which he gained. Not bad.
