Not to rain on your story, but what is the significance?

thought you might find this interesting: Met a guy several years ago in a small town in calif...He owned some property there and built a motocross track on it...It was in some foothills near the mountains....this was in the late 60s and early 70s....went to watch my friends older brothers and everone race motocross....This guy proceeded to tell me that he was personal friends with DB Cooper....Coop asked if when the track was closed he could practice parachuting into the middle of the track from a cessna-airplane...the mountain range had strange thermals and would allow for very slow decents...it was also very secluded...it took me years to find it again....there is a small airport on the other side of the range....Coop practiced there for a long time....apparently until he got it right....the guy never heard from him again...true story.....I was out there, at the track one day, when this guy from oregon pulled up and began telling me the history of the property......
