Data Recovery?????

Somehow a bunch of my business image files were deleted. Does the software that says it will recover deleted files work?
I don't want to waste money but if I can recover even part of the files it would be worth the $$$.

Very cool program. I used it to recover some pics off my digital still cam, and recycle bin.

Thanks for the freeware link...still trying to figure out how to use it.
Code, I have rebooted. I don't know when the files were lost, sometime in the last three months. I don't use them that often but I need them. Windows 98 is the OS. Suggestions????

NP.

If they were deleted 3 months ago, there might be a problem getting them restored. Basically as long as you didn't overwrite the place on your HD that the files were, you should be able to recover them.

I think I am going back to old fashioned photos and scan them in. Or I could just back up my system like most smart people do.

FYI - Nature Boy has never backed up his computer system.

The only "system backup" he does is when he gets constipated.
