Damn stomach virus

They sent 64 kids home from my daughter's school Monday because of a stomach virus. I didn't think I'd catch it because I rarely get ill. Feels like i'm being stabbed in the stomach. Sux.

I don't know. My sister and daughter both had it and were throwing up. I haven't thrown up since I was 16, so we'll see. I let myself get run down over the weekend, probably why I have a touch of it.

Make sure it doesnt get out of control dude. If youre barfing up everything that enters your system I would recommend you check yourself into a hospital for some IVs before you dehydrate. I have had 2 stomach infections in my life so far. The first one I thought I would get better over time but I would barf up anything that I swallow in less than 15 minutes. I also had major runs and I was tired, and always nauseated. I waited and waited but nothing hapened so my parents finally checked me in. I had already loss ALOT of fluids so they had to do an IV and pump me full of anti biotics and liquids. Same thing with the second time. The barfing is really really severe because the nausea will always be there even if youre gut is empty. You will try and force yourself to throw up even though you have nothing left. This cycle will repeat itself every 5-10 minutes, and pretty soon your sides will be hurting and you will barf up stomach acids. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. If you have any of the symtoms check yourself into a hospital immediately. Dont put yourself and your daughter thru what I had to go thru.

I got it really bad last week, was out of work all week also. Wound up in the ER on Thursday with IV fluids and antibiotics because of how bad the dehydration became. I am feeling 95% better now thank God! Be real careful with this stomach flu it is nothing to play with.
