I've seen them twice, many years ago though. There is nothing like being up front at a GWAR show frying on cid, with fog from a smoke machine rolling out, and blood every where. You look around and everyone is covered in blood...
Something to be seen at least once!

Scumdogs absoultely kicked serious ass. other albums were decent.

leaving for the store in a few minutes....gonna have to pump out 400watts of GWAR from the rustbucket because of this thread.

They do have a good sense of humor, and the music is not the best, but I love listening to it and is totally listenable- but really it is just the most rediculous thing you will ever see- chopping heads off popes, rabid penguins or giant dinasaurs, giant blood cannons soaking the audience... also soaking the audience with (fake) urine, spooge, etc, them and their giant appendages having sex with (blowupdolls) dressed as catholic school girls- spraying fake spooge all over...

It is all about sex, violence and drugs (all toungue in cheek) and kick ass tunes (which will not win any music awards by any means)

It is even cool as hell without drugs, though I did see a dude fighting an imaginary foe outside in an alley once after the concert.... LOL - funny part is the imaginary guy was kicking his ass!

nothing rocks more than listening to the double bass drum kicks during Maggots with 300watts of sub shaking the rust off of my rustbucket to pieces, side mirrors vibrating, rearview mirror shaking so bad i can't use it, glasses on my face vibrating ever so slightly making me think my eyeballs are thumping to the beat....

and 25 watts from each front speaker screaming into my face with an additional 25 from each rear speaker....turned down for a minor fill.....

do that while rolling into the grocery store parking lot while old ladies are hobbling to their cars.....or roll into the elementary school parking lot like that. good times.

Crak- Hell yeah bro- maggots is a great ass song (the whole scumdogs albumn rocks) My favs have to be meat sandwich or whargoul....
R Jan- They don't do anything illegal that it should be an issue - as far as people being on drugs, yea sure some, but that is at any concert...
Scots- Hit it up bro- you will have a blast... let me know how it is this year (might motivate me to get out to chi town..)

meat sandwich is a decent song, the rest of the album was ok, wasn't overly impressed though.

don't think i have anything past that, might have Violence has Arrived, have to check (if i have it, it's in my car, and don't feel like checking right now).

Scumdogs will always be one of my all time favorite albums. musically it's pretty damn good.
