What's the Big Deal with D-Bol?

Q: You once wrote that methandrostenolone (D-bol) is your personal favorite androgen. Why?

A: Well, I have to admit that most of the reasons are anecdotal, but nonetheless, I stick by my choice. D-bol is really effective in terms of feeling the "pump," whether this is simply due to increased glycogen storage, blood volume, or a combination of things, I'm not sure, but I love the stuff.

Not only that, but it's pretty unique in that it elevates mood (likely because of increased dopamine levels) and gives you an almost euphoric feeling. Also, in terms of appetite suppression, preserving muscle mass while dieting, and accelerating fat loss, D-bol is very effective.

The only problems I have are the fact this it's 17-AA, so it has some liver toxicity, as well as the fact that too high of a dosage could cause gynecomastia along with some water retention. Both of those effects, however, can be prevented by using an anti-estrogen or an aromatase inhibitor. It can also cause headaches (likely from increased dopamine which is hydroxylated to norepinephrine) and increased blood pressure if you take too much at once. Overall though, if you keep the dosages appropriate, you should experience nothing but positive effects, with the exception of hepatotoxicity from prolonged usage.
 
I am getting ready to do D-Bol for the first time, I was thinking 25 mgs per day. How does that sound for a first timer?

Why not try 10-20mg/day MAX and see how you react. I feel that 25mg/day may be too much for a first timer.

Keep in mind that 10-20mg/ day of DBol is roughly equivelant to 250-500mg/week of Testosterone as far as estrogen conversion and androgenic properties.

You wouldn't jump and do 600-700mg/week of Test........or would you? :)
 
Second cycle. 1st cycle Deca/Test/Winny. I want to set up a second cycle with D-bol/Deca/Test, running the D-bol for the first four weeks @ 25mg per day.
 
I agree with CanadianBro, keep it at the 10-20 mg ed range if you're a newbie. If this doesn't work for you, then just make an adjustment on a future cycle.

Thanks guys, I want to take the least amount that I need for the desired effect. One thing, I am 5'9" already 220 lbs @ 12% bodyfat. I have been training naturally for 20 years. If that has a bearing. I grow easy naturally, my thoughts were that because of this I won't need as much. But, then again, I am new to this.
 
You obviously have the patience and understanding of the time and effort it takes to build a body and therefore there is no reason to rush into huge does of Anabolics.

Take it slow and preserve your body...it's the only one you got :)
