To Taper down or not to taper down? That is the question
I have been doing my homework and I have read some articles in regards to Androgen receptor theory and cycle methodology. Recent research that I've read indicates that Anabolic Steroids can up-regulate Androgen recpetors. If this is the case then taking high dosages at the begining of the cycle and then tapering off would make sense. I am quoting an excerpt from one fo George's articles here, " The purpose of tapering down is to allow your body to start producing its own testosterone again. If you just cut off the steroid, then there will be a time lag where your body will have no test. You'll go into a catabolic state and lose all that you gained." This makes sense if you want to avoid some of the side effects but couldn't the same side effects be avoided by the use of clomid and HCG at the end of cycles to restart the natural production of Testosterone? What about the catabolism? If this is the case then theoretically one could use the highest dosage possible for the length of the cycle and of course implement the other drugs later to avoid catabolism and restart natural testosterone production. Which of these two approaches is most affective and which is safer? I would think the tapering off approach has a valid application in terms of safety but would the constant loading approach have that much more significant gains to justify the side affects? Any and all opinions are desired, except sarcastic assanine comments that would not add to an intelligent conclusion.
