Cutting/strength cycle w/ var and supps. Thoughts?

I’m about to start my first cycle soon, and was looking for critiques of my plan.

Stats – 33, 5’9”, 170, 13-15%BF

I’ve worked out for years but got serious about 2 years ago and workout 4-5 days a week. Over the past few months I’ve gotten serious and educated about a proper diet and I’ve definitely seen improvements and benefits that I wouldn’t have thought before getting on it. Mostly a Paleo diet. Planned calories 2000-2750 day. I’ve also toned down the partying which has helped. I do strength training, cardio, and power lifting on my own, along with competitive circuit training once or twice a week.



Example of a back workout from yesterday. I’m trying to vary weight/reps from light/heavy on different days:
  • Quarter mile warmup run
  • Stretch
  • Power Cleans 3x8 135 lbs
  • Deadlifts 3x6 235 lbs
  • Cable Rows 3x10 150 lbs
  • Pullups 3x20 mixed in when resting from other lifts
  • Delt Row 3x10 70lbs dumbbells
  • Cardio (15 min)
  • Stretch
Goals (in order of priority)–

1. Improve endurance until fatigue occurs (circuit-type training)
2. Recover quicker. Better post workout habits and sleep have helped but I look forward to more help here
3. Strength gains (I want to clean/snatch my body weight comfortably)
4. Reduction of BF%
5. Size is the last priority but a bit wouldn’t be a bad thing

1-8 Var 55mg every day
4-8 HCGenerate 5 caps a day 3 am 2 pm
1-8 creatine 2.5-5g a day
8-12 forma-stanzol 5 pumps am and pm every day for the first 4 weeks 3 am and pm for the last 2 weeks.
8-12 Unleashed and Post Cycle 1 cap of each 3 times a day
Whey Protein ½ scoop before/after workout

I’m thinking this should suit me nicely, and the sups should augment the var making it more effective. I’m also thinking about starting to use the Forma now for 2 weeks ahead of kicking off the var, then hold off until week 8 to see its effects alone upfront. Thoughts? Am I missing anything or could anything be tweaked? Should i eat more even with the goal to reduce BF%? Thanks.
 
Any feeback? Timing of each supp? Are my calories too low even if i'm trying to kind of cut? Is this overkill? I'd love to hear an an assurance that i'm doing this right...
 
Cycle looks fine. I'd start at 50 mg and consider upping it if sides are non existent. Most ppl seem to have a sweet spot around 80 mg. I liked 100. Idk what a paleo diet is... Makes me think of dinosaurs. I'd post your diet and routine in the proper sections and get everything tweaked before you start this. You might think its good but you would be surprised at small things you can learn and tweak. Also find your base metabolic rate to figure out your calorie consumption don't guess. You can maintain or make minor lbm gains in a cal deficit diet with var. that's what makes it good for cutting. Var doesn't actually cut fat itself.

Thanks for the input. I should get into more diet details in the diet area to get feedback, i didn't want to overload this thread. I will consider upping the var depending on how it feels in the first week or two, this is kind of source dependent so timing might be an issue.

Paleo- you arn't too far off with the dinosaur comment. It's google-able but the basic premise is to eat what people ate for thousands of years before modern food sources became the norm. Theory is that our bodies haven't evolved with the relatively quick change in foods (on a very long timescale). Paleo consists mainly of fish, grass-fed pasture raised meats, vegetables, fruit, roots, nuts, and NOT grains, beans, dairy, salt, and definitely no sugar. Basically a low carb diet with good protein and good fat. I still eat lowfat cottage cheese, greek yogurt, and honey from Kind bars.
 
Get diet and workout tweaked as well to maximize cycle. And I honestly think 50 is a little low, but being your first cycle start there and gauge how it goes. Also get a liver supp if u didn't mention it... Can't remember. I'd up your creative intake as well. Prob to 5-10 grams per day. With var I take 15 grams a day. Var and creatine work synergistically on your ATP.

My base metabolic rate is just above 2000 cals and I'm a fair bit bigger than you so figure out base metabolic rate, post it in your diet thread when u start one and adjust your cal Intake from your bm rate in accordance with your goals
