Cutting after massing, when?

Hi I hope some of you can give me some advice.

I am looking to cut up around April next year what Im worrying about is when I do cut up Im not going to be massive so when should I do a bulking cycle?

Should I do it right before the cutting cycle, right after the cutting cycle or should I mass around Feburary/March and then cut in April and then wait another few months before go on another mass cycle.

What do you think I should do?

Well, it's up to you, but I try to stay away from 'massing' or 'cutting' cycles. Since I am not competing, my goal is to look good all the time. And I think gaining 10 pounds of fat on a mass cycle is silly for my goals. Remember, I said my goals.

So, you might just try to put on as much muscle as you can, and watch your diet so that you don't get too fat.

If you are dead set on it, you can do it anytime. You will get people telling you to do the mass cycle before, and others will say after. Whatever.

I would say do what you need most, first. If you are kinda light, mass first. If you are fat, then cut first.

Thanks for the reply, but what I was really asking and perhaps I should have put it this way instead was should I have a gap of a few months between bulking and cutting cycles or could I do them straight after each other?

Well, that's why I was so vague in my reply, this stuff varies so much from person to person. And it's not just physical, but mental too.

What if I said, oh you should bulk first, then wait 6 months? Well, if you thought you looked like a fatass, you might do one of 2 things: 1) be depressed until month #6 rolls around, or 2) say fuck it, and cut.

So, I say again, do what you need most first, then take off equal time that you cycled (if your cycle was 10 weeks, take 10 weeks off gear) and then do the other. And you are making a big assumption here. The assumption being that you will get the results you want from just one cycle.

Hell, your plan might be to bulk first and then to cut. Well, what if you only gain 8 pounds? Now what? That's not really bulking, now is it?

The only thing I would NOT do, is immediately start dieting after you get off gear. That is a sure-fire way to lose all the gains you got from your cycle.

How was that?

Thats better, cheers.

What if I suggested I went on a mass cycle, had 3 months off, then I cut, then I try another mass cycle straight after, then a long off cycle before doing another cycle.

a lot of people bulk in the winter and cut in the summer.

so bulk up in the late fall or early winter say november and december and then take some time off and begin your cutting in april or may. this will give your body the time off that you might need inbetween cycles to get you natural test level back.

i'm going to cut here pretty soon. i'm getting a late start i know, but i'm just trying somethings out. like longhorn said, i'm not in any comp's, so it's not real important to me to cut up. i just want to give it a try and see what happens and if it's something i like.

I think you are a tougher person than most on here if you actually do hold out for 3 months, lol.

But it sounds good to me. I also liked your cycle you posted on the other thread.
