dude , have you any idea just how many packages great and small fedex interacts with? that coupled with their Extremely fast delivery guarantees, I think the only way you are fucked is by a hot chick sitting next to you just yearning for it. even UPS they interact with over 1.8 million parcels a month (something like that) they begin clearing routine packages before they reach the shores, and I am sure that MOst are treated as routine.
ups is THE largest shipment company and they only have 100 certified customs brokers, now think about fedex with tighter deadlines, and a smaller company, by far as UPS owns over 85% of the world market.

DHL OK ultimate to/from central america, i think they have loopholes no one is as efficient to that region.

I used to work at Fed Ex and I would not worry about it. There are so many packages coming in and the speed that they have to be delivered leaves no time for scrutinizing every package. The Post Office doesn't give a shit about time frames, but Fed Ex is more concerned with sticking to the delivery time than catching contraband.

I lost one to Customs from Brazil. I recieved notice of a certified letter waiting for me at the post office. Never went to get it. I had recieved a package from the same guy two weeks before and the morons botched my order. Also lost 450 bucks out of the deal. They a computerized scanning system that recognizes address' to and fro that can put up a flag. Screwing internationally I think there is always a chance to lose one. Dometic is much easier

bro i wouldnt worry about it too much. i work for u.p.s. we have so much volume. we are bigger then fedx. just way to many items coming threw to scan everyone. really the one thing i would worry about is package breaking open. you would be shocked how these items are just throwin around! any way brotha good luck too you!
