Actually could you be a little more specific because Cult is simiply a restatment of the term religion and relates mainly to the size of a group.

Do you mean cult as in brainwashing-zombie-making cult?

I am investigating starting one. Got down the basics. All the women I can have at my wish, doesn't matter marital status. All of member's income is donated to me for my worthy cause. Anyone disagree they drink out of the punch bowl. All members will bow, worship and do whatever I may ask.

if you read modern anti cult literature, they consider things like amway to be a cult, whereas the new age movement isn't.

i've contemplated starting a cult (for something challenging) or looking into deprogramming. but where to begin?

i have an intermediate knowledge of mind control. castles in the air, reforming the past/present/future, psychological, financial & emotional dependence, cognitive dissonance, identity destabilzation, creating a threatening outside world, no valid escape route, etc. etc. etc.

You just need and Icon and belief system and you are on the road. Are you somewhat charismatic? That's what will hook people. That or can you float in the air?
