Crystal DNP Shelf life

I have some DNP bottled and labele not to use past expiry date. Does anybody know about this? I dont want to use it unless I know for sure what happens if it is used past the 'expiry date' It is about 4 months past the date on the container.

parent dnp (not the salt) degrades into a couple of gases, nothing toxic unless you are in a closed room with a lot of it. as for what you have...call the manufacturer or start looking for stability data from 60 years ago
