i am 5'6", 160 lbs around 13% bf right now, looking to get up to 180 then cut down to around 165 or wahtever gets me to about 8-10% bf

meal 1: 1 1/2 cups of grape nuts, 1 cup milk
meal 2: (at school) 1 meso-tech protein bar, 1 apple, 2 slices 100% whole wheat bread
meal 3: (pre-workout, just got out of school)1 steak, 1 cup oatmeal
meal 4: (post workout) 2 scoops GNC 100% whey protein, 40 g protein, 2 tbsp of honey (around 37 carbs, just ordered dextrose off of supplement direct plan on using that, 1 serving is 75 carbs), 5 grams of glutamine, 5 grams of creatine (6 weeks on, 4 weeks off)
meal 5: (1 hr after post workout)1 chicken breast, 1 cup brown rice, 1 yogurt
meal 6: 1 scoop GNC 100% whey protein(around 22 g), 1 can tuna(18 grams protein), 1 cup milk

that is it, also if u dont know grape nuts nutrional info is 1/2 cup= 210 calories, 6 grams protein, 44 carbs

you should drink twinlab ultra fuel after workouts and add a lot of red meat to your diet along with brown rice,oatmeal,potatoes-cut out dairy and bread

dimond dice clay: i already eat meat, brown rice, and oatmeal. what is wrong with the bread and dairy, does it do anything bad, it is too hard to get carbs and protein at school so that is why i went with the bread, any other suggestions instead? also the milke helps me get about 15 more grams of protein, 200 more calories, and around 30 more carbs, whats wrong with it?

i agree with the bread ........ but not on your life for dairy....... unless your lactose intolerent

sounds good........ but dont limit yourself........ eat as much as you can......... dont pick numbers like "bulk up to 180" that limits yourself......... eat, eat, when you get tired, eat some more, and then if you dont know what else to do ,eat.

screw the chicken......... try to get 2-3 lbs of red meat to start with.

chicken is a good protein source when dieting...... not for bulking..... that may be my opinion....... but i like sticking to basic's instead of being so technical......... lots of red meat, milk, and potatoes.... oh yeah...... i didnt see any eggs listed on your diet.... the more the better.. ...(usually.)

bulking is not always so scientifical...... unless your trying to stay lean......forget that......... just make sure you have plenty of time to cut off the fat......... for example....... dont bulk for 8 months and then leave yourself 12 weeks to diet........ start getting your diet under control about 10 weeks before you would diet.

be smart......... you look like your off to a good start..... good luck
