hey wait a minute i didnt say that i didnt like that song. it just seemed that every cd he came out with sounded the same,
 
wait til i send this to my buddy up in wisconsin.. i went up there for his wedding, and EVERYONE at the reception i swear was talking about how much "creed rocked"... that and how good brett favre was... heres an actual conversation:

me: didn't the packers suck this year?
wisconsin guy: yeah... but favre was awesome
group of wisconsin guys: yeah favre... favre rocked
 
I think the million dollar question is this... which of these is best band: Nickelback, Creed, Hoobastank?

Heavier? I didnt think so, the new singer sings like a woman imo. There a a few decent songs on the Alter Bridge album but i would say there softer than most creed songs.
 
i'm sure the guy is a royal toolbox, but damn... his life must be TOUGH if people in some boon ass town are going out of their way to humiliate him. What is his crowning achievement of superegoism?

Scott, unfortunately let all the fame go to his head in the worst ways. Since I live in Orlando, I got to see Creed play a free gig at the hard rock when they were just starting out. I chatted with his mom for a while there who was one of those old fashion beehive wearing southerners. Their intention was to start the band and use the money made off of it to pay for law school. We also spoke about how she hoped that this new found fame wouldn't go to his head. I'm sure they are pretty disappointed in him now as I am.

This show was really small and only a few hundred people got in because the venue was so small. It ranks as one of the best concerts I have ever been to because it was so intimate and new. The power of their performance is what set them apart from other bands. The reason I liked them and their first album so much was because their music was from the heart just like the band Shinedown is....all heart. Then he realized how big they were getting and just ran with it the wrong way. The ego was so apparent in the next album as it did not have that power that their first did and is the driving factor for the band leaving Scott. It's too bad though as I think they could have been legendary.

I also remember them at the summer sanitarium tour in St Petersburg where they had the ENTIRE STADIUM singing along with them. To have that many people sing along to a band on the undercard truly explains the power that they had and unfortunately lost...

Hoobastank is def. the worst.
