Hey New Jack, I've competed at a national level as an amateur boxer, and fought pro as well - and I never used creatine while fighting or training for a fight - but I tried it for a couple of weeks while powerlifting, and it gives you a real quick pump, probably due to the water being transferred to the muscle cells, or something like that - but that would prove harmful to a boxer - it would cut down on your endurance as far as throwing punches goes - your arms would start getting pumped from throwing punches, and would cause you to lose speed, as well as power. It would be like doing an arm workout with weights, and then go hit the heavy bag without resting! You'd be alot slower, and fatigue would set in quickly! In boxing, speed is power, so you want to stay loose. I used to weight train 3xper week when I was boxing (5x5 routine) - one exercise per bodypart - but the week of the fight - I would stop lifting - and do a circuit of maximum reps in dips-chins-handstand pushups-pullups(palmsfacingyou) - close-hand feet elevated tricep pushups - some free-hand squats - and calf raises - and neck work - that way, I'd still maintain the strength, but gain a little speed.
