Creatine = no weight gain....WHY?

I have been lifting weights for 9 years and I have recently tried using Creatine. I have been using two kinds of creatine, high performance fruit punch by body fortress and pure creatine by another company. I am 205 and lean, and not on a cycle. So why have I not gained even 1 pound? I have been taking double the recommended dosage. I took it for a month with no gain in weight and strength. Does this stuff not work for every one or should I be using a better brand?
 
Not everyone responds to creatine... If you have been training for 9 years you could be hitting a plateau... it happens to the best of us... You need to revise training/diet for growth, not just pop creatine... But still its wierd u didnt retain any water from creatine... Don't expect steroid like growth from any brand of creatine.. its not going to happen...



But yes you should be taking a CEE (creatine ethyl ester) .. check out www.anabolicfitness.net ...
 
if you wanna run otc shit that costs just as much as gear :(, use no2, the original brand, i put on 5lbs of mass with it but you have to use it for 12 weeks, it is in no way gear and waaaaaay to expensive but the pumps are great and its better than creatine, i never got a thing off of creatine either
 
i dont gain but maybe 2-3 lbs of water off creatine, i still use it to hydrate muscle it has its purpose, but not everyone gains 10 lbs off it.. i agree with said above, you may have hit a plateau, you have reached your bodies natural point.... dont worry too much about the weight the scale gives you,,,,,,,,, although thats my problem, so i shouldnt give advice there :p
 
"NO Xplode" is one of the best OTC products ive ever used...bar none..it works immediately (day 1)....the intensity and pumps are incredible (fruit flav is best and well tollerated)...much like the no2 that bruce is talking about...the explode product is sold at vitamin world, ive put several people on it in my gym including women with amazing results...i dont even workout without it anymore...i can only vouch for this product as it is the only one ive tried...i have heard from other members that the no2 is superior- i dont know...
note: i tried to go riding on a sunday using "X PLODE" ...i was fucking miserable, i was so pumped up i couldnt ride at all, shoulders ,legs and arms - i couldnt get out of my racing leathers...no joke.

creatine must be loaded....i dont care what anyone says on this topic...my personal pref. is "CELL TECH"...grape flav, its very lite tasting and not sickening sweet...load only 5 grams at a time every 2 hours on the clock, not 10 grams... do this for 6 days straight...if you cant load, youre one of the few creatine does not work on....this is a true statement, it does not work for all people....

N02 is supposed to make a cream that u rub on its supposed to kick in by day 1. i am still waiting for that, i might use it after pct on my next cycle so i can retain more protein.
 
Creatine isn't a magic bean. Some respond to it, some don't. Try CEE and see if that works. You could also be taking in too few calories, as you said you were lean. And after 9 years, you may be at a serious plateau.
