Creatine Bloat

Does creatine make you bloated, i want to start adding plain ole creatine to my Maltodextrin and Whey post workout shake, just want to know if i am going to blow up with water weight...

also is fructose better than maltodextrin??? Why???

No, creatine will not make you "bloat". Simple reason is that it pulls water into the muscle and people sometimes mistake that for water retention.

Malto. - pertaining to post-workout - is much better than fructose, because fructose is 4x more likely to refill liver glycogen then muscle glycogen. So, post-workout, when you need muscle glycogen the most, Malto. should be your choice.

get a qualtiy creatine product. cheap brands of creatine have a high sodium content due to the manufacturing process and qualtiy of the raw materials used. they will cause true water retention external to the muscle cell...

get HSC creatine or something similar

During the manufacturing process the creatine is treated w/ HYDROGEN not soidum. Hence, MonoHydrate, one linked chain. On the other hand, sodium content is required to be show by law.

Whenever I take creatine, I notice my face blows up like crazy... Even if I'm not retaining water else where... my face gets really round looking.... Within a week of stopping the creatine.. my face goes back to normal, and I get my jawline back.... Go figure...
