it's basically putting cocaine and baking soda and some water in a spoon or something like that and cooking it. all the crap they cut the coke with seperates and you're left with a rock of coke. and you smoke it. I took like 3 huge hits and next thing you know I was puking in someones front yard. It's like a coke buzz but a little harder and lasts shorter. Not exactly crack but close.

As far as i know, some drugs are gassed with HCl to turn them into a salt.
If you put the soda and smoke it that is reversed and is quicker absorbed which gives a better buzz.

And no, no cocaine and nothing that is made from opium.
