Counter Strike on PC?

Who here is also tired of hot chicks, and instead prefers CounterStrike on PC?

I've been playing it again 8 hours a day. I tell ya, i can NEVER get used to the directional keys and mouse to move around. I love my joystick on the xbox. Sure it sucks for aiming, but dammit - at least i can run around easily. No wonder arcade games work better with joysticks.

Speaking of galaxy. I'm also hooked on Star Wars : Empire at War. It's kinda like Command & Conquer (i love red alert 2) and like most real-time stratgies -it's fun to play and deploy your armies. Graphically very beautiful.

Here's a tip: When flying, bring a laptop with games. I can do 5 hour flight, and the end -- i do'nt even want it to land - i'm having so mcuh fun blowing up Russian troops, or shooting bad guys. Get a full batter, window seat - and 13 hours are like nothing.

I love strategy games, and i talked all my friends into getting C&C:red alert 2........we got bored of it (i keep on winning) now we play Ages of Empires III.............damn this is a good game........very good graphics and very nice gameplay.....nifty features too

Is it quick to learn? I hate games where those who can memorize the manual for 12 hours can blow away newbies. Its boring. Easy to find players online?

Real easy to learn, i mean very same systematic controls just like in C&C and you will love it................me and my friends could connect directly to each other...........so nobody could crash the room if we do it online...

But if you want to play against strangers very easy to find tens of thousands of them online...

I was outrageously hooked on cs for about 6 years, most addictive game I've ever played - get used to keyboard/mouse and you'll agree that its WAY better for fps games too

I've not played CS for a long while now. I used to play for too many hours a day from the early beta versions. I hated the changes they made around 1.3 and 1.4

Razor, Demo is pretty good, but nothing compared to the real thing, and its a thinking mans game......

Team players got to play like that, look out for the others, fight their wars and when you are under attack rely on allies to help you out.......

and oh yeah, it does have 1-only registration crap.......so if you want to register it i recommend you buy it, its on sale in Best-Buy for $39.99, and i got it when it was $59.99, completely worth it.......

If youve got your old HL cd-key just download steam from www.steampowered.com and download the game. You need to enter your key when you get it to play online.

yeah after 1000 hours of usage anyone get can get at it. With a joystick you can be an acrobatic olympian in 10 mins. No one ever plays street fighter and goes "damn i gotta get used to this joystick".

i'm ok, but still better at maneuvering with a joystick. aiming of colurse is better - tho it's relative. On the pc, people hit you immediately and you're dead with 2 shots to the head. Kinda unrealistic if you ask military folks. So it all evens out.
