Planning a trip to Costa Rica sometime in June. Has anyone ever been? Or perhaps can recommend things to do.

my buddy went to costa rica,I forget the exact name of the place,but they surfed and got very high most of the time, but there is other stuff like kayaking,but I dont assume your a skilled kayaker which is a must in their rivers

Yeah bro I have a condo down there on the pacific coast. Great place, lots of sun and the waves are great where I am. I have seen many famous surfers before down there during the off season. I love the whole country.

And whoever said the weed blows I agree, it's cheap as hell but nothing special almost comparable to the midi's I can get around here in Indiana. And yes all day ski passes are super cheap.

Our bosses heads to Costa Rica almost every month.

Loves the place. Great weather. Hot women. Cheap standard of living.

Being an old fart -- it's an ideal retirement place. Old farts should go there instead of high-priced areas like florida.

Definately a fun beautiful place to check out. Very high on my list of future vacation hot spots.

Stay on the west coast. Much better there. Go to Tortugero National Park and visit the rainforest's. It's amazing. Beware, all they eat is beans and rice.

Yup. Weed=cheap and schwag. Also true on the coke. The beer is really good, and the whole deal is to just take it easy. Stop in the hole in the wall places, have gallo pinto with lizano sauce for breakfast, and don't worry about much.

As far as specific places, Tamarindo is nice. There's this other place, Playa Manuel Antonio, there are these monkeys that throw things at you from the trees. It's pretty cool. And do some white water rafting if you get a chance too.
