Cops are out to get me!!!

okay i stood trial two months for a dui and fleeing the scene of a property damage accident.

i was aquitted.

now this morning i find a note on my door saying i have been charged with a B misdemeanor for reckless driving.

i have never been arested for reckless driving. there is no date on the note. nothing.... i think the charges relate to an incident when i was pulled over 4 months ago. i wasn't arrested. the cop told me SHE was not arresting me.

could a cop or DA call another cop or DA and convince them to press charges because the state failed to convict me the first time?

Are you sure the note is genuine? I don't see why it would have no date on it... nor do I see why it would be on your door. I'd think someone would have to contact you by phone or send you a letter for that. Call whatever number you need to call to find out whether or not someone is trying to fuck with you.

Around here, if you get a ticket, you sign for it.
Just above the signature, it states you promise to take care of it or appear in court to clear it.
If you forget, or ignore it, then your status becomes "failure to appear" which is an arrestable offence.
The sherriff deputies come post a yellow note on your door that there is an arrest warrant out for you.
If you don't call and agree to pay (a lot more than the original fine) then they come back and make the arrest.
That's the way it works in this county.
