Funny how they kinda trash American special forces
Thse are fighting words:
"This relatively small military outfit should not be compared too strongly to American special forces. The Seals, Rangers, Green Berets are all large, public and less specialized. I've not yet met a serving or former SAS man who has very much praise for any of the special forces of the United States. One officer explained that he would, "rather fight alongside the French than the Americans."
To put this in context, no British soldier enjoys the company of the French military. Something to do with 1,000 years of war. The apprehension about the Americans has absolutely nothing to do with their lack of courage, but with their reliance on technology rather than guile, numbers and noise rather than craft and delicacy.
