What should I tell her or show her that there is nothing to worry about with AAS?
 
Find a lot of studies that show the benifits of AAS, but stay away from media hype. I am not sure where to find these other than in personal statememnts...but what the hell, let her read the forum with you...you could explain what you read and see a lot of the pics in other forums.

simple, just give her all of the information that you read before deciding steroids were ok for you.
 
Or you could just as well tell her that the used of AAS will dramatically increased your testosterone production and the tendency to be horny then she'll give you the OK.
 
What are her concerns? Your health, personality, penis size changing? what? :) I was seeing a guy and it did affect his personality and sexual drive.
 
mostly health concerns, legal issues
 
she doesnt want me to get sick or die basically. I told her I would stop if it was affecting me badly
 
those are valid concerns. maybe reassure her and tell her you are doing it to look good for her too. I think letting her read with you is a good idea. just tell her everything, be honest.

Sounds lika a unhealthy relationship dude. If you love her just be honest. If she doesn't come around then rethink your decision. Or take a break for a while and try again later. Don't do it without her knowing. It's not worth it.

I tell my girl everything. She hates me doing it, but she knows that it's something I do enjoy and keeps me active. So she does understand, but she will never truely accept it. She's just open to me about it.
 
It's great that your going to tell your wife my friend. It's alot easier when you don't have to sneek around with AAS. Give her all the info you know and have her read the forum like others are saying. It will all work out for ya.

I don't know how old you are, but if your are 35+, you may need legal HRT.
That would take care of the legality concerns, as well as any concerns about getting underground, probably underdosed meds. It would also insure that a doctor is monitoring your bloodwork, blood pressure, PSA, etc. Seems like the way to go to me.

Dude, I started a thread on this yesterday. I let my wife know about aas. Shes ok with it, I want to get her to do my injections. The advise from everyone is the same and it is the obvious choice. If you let her know you must educate her to remove the fear.

I wouldn't. Why risk it? Hurry up and get your game on. Talk to her. Maybe she will agree then. I mean, she loves you, trustsyou, have that kiddo
 
Just tell her you are going to do it regardless... you dont want to have to lie to her..
and you dont want to have to sneak behind you back.. but you read and think about it all day... and you are going to do it one way or the other ... and you would much rather have her support... and help... If you has worried you will do the work to show her how to compate any health problem.. and you will definityly do your homework before just jumping into it... and make sure she know that if she is not supporive... that you will end up doing it behind her back..... and that it is more dangerouse that way... and you will be more prone to take riskes ... and i will be harder to take every measure of precaustion.. that is need to do them .. the best and safest way... please support me... that is a winner
 
Ok! Lying is definetly not the way to go. Just tell her that the people who get fucked up and die from aas are a bunch of uneducated dumb ass who used them incorrectly and abused them. Tell her that if used properly with proper PCT you will have no problems. Yes you can still have kids.

I went through this shit 10 years ago. I told the wife and she didn't understand. People fear what they do not know! Period! So I explained everything to her. Took me a couple of hours. But she got it. I told her that with gear, I will look bigger and tougher. I asked her..." don't you want to have me as great accessory and a great protector "?

Not only that...but I will be able to fuck you harder and better. She then agreed to it ! Simple as that!
 
she should be all for it, she loves sex, at least 4 or 5 times a week
 
of course it is, health is more important. I don't have a big ego, I am not going to overdose or use to much.

Nope, I don't tell her shit. I put on 20 lbs of water and muscle in six weeks and she's like DAMN, those protein shakes work. :) She thinks I'm just a real easy gainer.

Don't get me wrong, I don't lie to her about everything. But she just wouldn't understand AAS and if its not absolutely necessary that I disclose this, then why go through the shit??

BTW, she's my GF and not my wife. If we were married, it'd be a different story.

Good question, been seen here for the last 5 years, all depende on the trust you have in your partner.....Personlly I would tell her ...do some reading and it's a good idea to have and read some of the post...there are a lot of Stickys with great info.....also remember media as made us the bad guys in sport so be prepared.........

Having a spouse whos cool about AAS is a best case scenario. Not all wives are so calm and agreeable to being "educated" about the pros and cons of AAS. Be real nothing kills a womans willingness to listen to a man like a slice of wedding cake. If you feel that strongly about doing it, you know her best tell her if poss, but if not your a closet juicer. The stigma surrounding AAS is not only limited to signifigant others but everyone around us. Who uses that never has to deny the truth to someone due to the negative image of AAS in general?

BINGO. That was a very uneducated thing to say.

If a male takes AAS and gets his partner pregnant, there will be NO impact on the fetus. Even if he is taking AAS when he gets her PG. There will be no impact.

AAS will not affect the potential future fertility of a male. It CAN affect his fertility while he is on and for the time being until he recovers - when his natural hormone levels go back to normal. This takes different amount of time for different men. When a male takes AAS, his natural hormone levels are altered - this usally bring his fertily down.....but not always, so don't count on it for birth control.

If one of your goals is to start a family soon, then don't start a cycle now. NOT because it will affect the fetus, but because you do not want to do anything that can compromise your fertility - even temporarily.

If the FEMALE is on AAS, then THAT affects the fetus negatively. But the male on AAS, no impact on the fetus.

Actually, I think there is an impact although not necessarily negative: I understand that heavy steroid users are slightly more likely to father girls.

I wonder how scientific that study was - and how big the sample size was compared to the control group ....

But regardless, father girls more often is a far cry from "harming the fetus". :) I mean really, we all know girls are better ..... lol KIDDING. :)
 
I got my G/F pregnant while ON and its a boy. If she needs proof i can send you our ultrasound video from last week, shes now 18 weeks pregnant and everything is perfectly healthy! My first kid too, im very excited.

it wont affect the baby at all, but it will tend to make you sterile while on , so you wont be able to have the kiddo. once you get your natural levels and sperm count back up, you can have the baby no probs..
although some people who ABUSE gear can shut themselves down for good .

I asked my wife to sit down with me and help me do the research. She was very skeptic at first because of all of the media shit.....but after reading some info on here and other sites she is ok with it. She still won't help me stick the glutes though damn it!.... I just tell her she will be happy with the results when i am done with pct and she doesn't complain.
 
Hey bro, just get her involved. Women love that, doing things that make you happy will make her the same. (not saying to get her some gear too, just saying not to keep her in the dark.)
 
I did it!! This weekend we went away to Paris. While sat in the hotel bar on saturday morning we got talking about a few of my friends that are using gear and how I would like to try it (she doesnt know about the 2 cycles I already did, thinks I respond well to protein shakes)! She has always hated gear thinking its dirty and dangerous but she knows I read about it nearly every day so.......we got talking about all the stuff I research and I told her all the benefits/side effects etc of the various different compounds and after about an hour she just said: "If I let you do them you dont tell anyone"! Bingo, she finally understands! All it took was for her to listen to all the information and make an informed decision on her own. I'm so relieved that she's cool with it now I dont have to hide it anymore. Then that night......I proposed! She's definately the one for me!
 
OK. Maybe it was an uneducated thing to say but I had heard the fetus was affected. So I did a search. Here are some studies:

Basically, the female should not be on steroids. It causes fetal growth retardation. It can cause infants to have both sexes develop.

In males, it affects sperm reducing the chances of getting pregnant.

So, since jdynasty's wife is concerned about getting pregnant then this can/may affect her chances of getting pregnant.

I'm not saying it's harmful at all to the fetus, I just didn't clearly state what I was trying to say. If I'm not mistaken, the "female" sperm are a little bit hardier than the "male" and thus there are a few things that can cause a male to have a greater chance of fathering a girl.

Originally the evidence was all anecdotal however I believe there may have been a genuine study on the matter which I may look for in a moment. But I know that the same phenomena occurs in astronauts as well due to the effects of extreme G-forces.

Don't lie about it. Just make it obvious that you know what you are talking about and that you are using them wisely. Get a physical, read some scientific/medical journals. Do the research and show her that you are mitigating the risks.

Works for me.

I can tell you what I have done - in prepartion to get the "permission" hehe from the wife.

First, I explained it all to her, good and bad. Dont try that its not so bad thing and hide the bad stuff. Women are curious by nature, she will look into it while you are at work. Just explain what it is and why you want it.

She does need to know what you are taking, as the case may come when you are in a car accident etc and paramedics need to know what meds you are on. These count. I work in Fire/EMS - Its important she knows the names and dosage, or atleast has access to records incase of emergency.

One last kick at the cat, if you feel that you arelosing the discussion, you may want to mention , its similar to women wanting breast implants, even though they know it is potentially dangerous, they do it to feel better about themselves. Women find it hard to deny your right to feel go about yourself. Explain to her you will keep a close eye on it, and take the side effect drugs as well!

thats what worked for me brother, and now it all but finding what I will use and such. Good luck, and do pick a time when she is either in a good mood, or feeling down about her own body.
