I need to be as fit as I can be for a out of town tournament I have coming up.

I am pretty fit but wouldn't mind being over the top - is their any two week condition stints I can do that any of you know of ?

I don't mind do any types of cardio/workout

let me know

thanks!!

in general impossible...but, you can see a big jump in a short time by doing intervals (anaerobic/LA threshold)--but the problem is that your body tend to build for a couple/three weeks, then there is dip in performance, followed by a jump to higher (just like lifting)--the problem is that w/o a base in any specific exercise it's REALLY easy to get hurt doing them as you are not used to the motion...let me think a bit:idea:

if you lift a lot, try HIIT--that can help...still thinking

haha thanks bro - i was thinking HIIT as well.. I live in western canada so its generally cold here and I've got a tournament out in California - where it's super hot.. probably will need that extra bit of edge

it shouldnt be hard to find a class with a good instructor... you can learn a lot there and if u want go do it yourself in a sauna... ive done some yoga in the sauna before and its pretty rough... keep hydrated... i dont know a lot of moves or have a lot of experience, but from what i have seen and felt, its one of the best ways to get conditioned fast... i do a few basic moves and let the sauna do its work, mostly to open up my hips and lose water weight... the pushup holds, upward and downward dog and a few others i dont know all their names though...
most commercial gyms offer these classes for free with your membership... id bet there are a ton of good vids on youtube though... get a small portable heater for your room or wherever...
