computer problems

This is a minor problem but i don't know how to fix it.

I have window XP, everytime a browser window finished downloading info from the server (the page completes downloading) the computer automatically makes that browser window prominent. I find it very annoying because i usually have 3 or 4 browsers going on at the same time, and i'll be reading one.....just like right now, i just had to switch back to the EF browser because the computer automatically switched me to another one that just finished downloading.

Anyway, i didn't see anything in the tools part of the browser, so how do i change it so the computer doesn't automatically switch me to whatever page has just finished downloading?

Same here but I also just started having that prob at work on a win2k system. I'm wondering if it's something with ie 6. The wierd thing is it just started happening all of a sudden and I don't know why. Like you, I've looked all over the place for a setting but have come up empty

I don't recall where, but there is a setting that will allow you to have the browser window that wants focus to just blink on the toolbar instead of stepping to the front of the windows.
I'd look either under folder options to start, but that doesn't sound quite right.
