Every now and then, I miss a show on TV and then I d/l the torrent to watch it. It seems that the video lags behind the audio by about 5-12 seconds. How can I make it normal?

Are you trying to view it in bitcomet while it's downloading? If not, then the video is probably corrupt, try another source. You can fix it by adding a delay in TmpegEnc or an avi encoder, but it would be a pain and requires recompiling the video frame by frame.

You can't without hours of work.
That's just the way it's encoded.
You would be better off downloading a better copy

corrupt file
find a divx copy if you can
usually better quality
what ya downloading?
i'm waiting on last night's 24 to complete

At times, lagging audio is a sympton of an overloaded computer. Is the CPU maxed out when you are playing the movie? If it is, that might be the problem. Shut down all the other shit on the machine and try the movie - it might work just fine.

I agree. I've only rarely had it lag and thats because my pc was d/l'ing another torrent, had about a billion tabs open, outlook etc.
