computer help (color problems)

3 months ago my pc fucked up, well i fucked it up. I had to install a new ethernet card and i started over again. The only problems i have right now is colors and volume. I now only have 16 colors where it was once true colors (all colors) i can barely see what im typing and now i just downloaded kazaa again but i cant play my songs it says player error. Can anyone help?......please?

its still doesnt help, the only colors i get are 2 colors and 16 colors, how do i adjust this?

sounds like either your video card is broken, or it lost the drivers and it is using default mode.
and never heard of it giving 2 color mode except on old laptops.

once you install it the options of more colours should become availible?

or squeeze your balls real tight and you'll see lots of different colours

Your video card drivers are corrupted. You need to find the manufacterer and the make of it and download new drivers from the manufacturer's website. I had the sameproblem. Video problems can usually effect other programs so that'll probably fix everything else right up. Otherwise, you'll need to reinstall everything else that's f'd up. I had a voodoo card so I went to that website. There might even be a file in your pc if you bought it new from gateway or someone like that, that tells you what video card you have in there.

I would say identify your video card and delete the installed drivers on it, and download a fresh set of drivers. that may help.
