I have a freind who has a Hewlitt Packard PC, one of the cookie cutter one with the integrated sound and video cards. Problem is she has NONE of the system cd's.....now her system is so corrupted I need to fix it, I wanna install Windows XP but there's an issue of the drivers-I don't have any. When I installed Windows XP it detected everything and installed drivers for it, it was amazing. I'm wondering if it will do it for this integrated shit tho?? If I format that thing and it doesn't she has an expensive paperweight. I'm thinking as a CYA measure I can go into the device manager and locate all the drivers, and then copy them to disc. I'm talking the .sys and .dll files. I have a friend who swears it will work. Any guru's here have any ideas??
