Computer experts HELP???

I downloaded Blackice firewall from Freeware.com.

Its deleting everything I have.
I rebooted it and still deleting everything.

Never heard of such a thing happening. What do you mean it keeps deleteing the files. Do you have a virus scan? Maybe the firewall deleted infected files?

Get norton antivirus and firewall. Can't ever go wrong with them.

Hmmmmm, how lovely, indeed you probably downloaded a virus from that freeware site.......................two things you need to do.

1) Do a full scan of your hard-drive, if you don't have AV software on your computer go here: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ , it's a free online virus scanner.

2) Blackice is a shitty firewall program anyway. Go here and use this: Go to bottom of page, Zone Alarm free download
This is a much better firewall program.

Next time don't download shit from a freeware site, or for that matter from any p2p network.

well, i guess if it deleted your hard drive saves you the hastle. jk man. sorry. my recommendation: reformat your hd. not sure if its just here or everywhere, but i can go to circuit city or where ever and buy norton anti-virus and a good firewall together for like $40. and you get free virus upgrades for a year or something. friend of mine has it and its pretty good. good luck.
