DOes anyone have a like a check list of the process they go through while getting ready for a competition. Im trying to learn the whole process its just im not getting much help..

Go platinum and there is a whole section for Pre Contest. Even if for only a month it would be well worth the 11$.

You don't need to be Plat. to view it though... go to the main board view where you see every forum...scroll down you'll see "Pre Contest Preparation" ... try that forum, may not be alot of ppl that view it... but some great info there.. if you post up, give it time for someone to find and reply for ya.
