Common Mistakes People Make


1. Using Excessive Dosages
When taking steroids, the more you take is not always the best way to go. Taking excessive dosages has become a huge problem with steroids today. It isn't only dangerous, but studies have shown it to be ineffective. The body can only use a limited amount of the steroid so the extra is turned into estrogen by the body.

2. Staying On Steroids Too Long
In several cases, steroid users avoid waring signs telling them not to go on a cycle more than 8 to 12 weeks without an off period. If an off period is not taken, there is a higher chance for the negative effects of steroids to occur. If there is no off period the body does not have a chance to recover from the steroids, so more damage is done. This also is terrible for the kidneys and liver.

3. Eating Poorly
Many people ignore magazines and educators that explain eating as being an important asset to growing, but the truth is, eating healthy has a big effect on the body. When on steroids the user must consume between 4000 and 7000 calories a day, not meaning eat only fat foods. The diet must be high in calories and protein, but low in fat.

4. Training Incorrectly
When on steroids the training must be intense and difficult. Instead of the usual weight that suits you, you must do excess weight and strenuous work for the best gains. The workout should involve the maximum weight possible, and make progress each time.

5. Not Getting Regular Blood Tests
Steroids are very dangerous and can cause great problems. Blood tests should be done often and regularly. When steroids are first taken many tests become elevated but will return to normal with in a few weeks. During the off period tests should also be done to make sure the body is recovering properly. If there is a problem with the Blood test, consult a doctor that you can trust.

6. Using The Wrong Steroids
Many athletes will increase their chances of getting negative effects when they take the wrong steroids. The strongest steroids that build more muscle mass, have the most side effects. These drugs should be avoided if possible, unless there is a reason to have an unbelievable gain. But these drugs are very toxic and I would recommend not taking them.

7. Using Counterfeits
Counterfeit steroids are a bigger problem than you would believe, there are more counterfeit steroids in the market than you would think. These steroids offer no positive gains, and some give the side effects of real steroids. Taking counterfeit steroids is like injecting poison into your body, bad effects nothing positive.

I would re-work this one to 3. Eating Poorly when Bulking. I definately agree with too many common errors going on with steroid users, but hey we cannot teach the stupid.

Dromastanolone Di-propionate will not aromatize in any dosage, thus it cannot be converted into estrogen.
UP THE DOSAGE!!!! :evil:

You sound like one of those people on tv that says steroids are bad, and that's all they say. Be more clear about what you say. Staying on steroids too long? Well how long is too long? 1yr 5yr 10yrs???

4k-7k a day? Even if the kid is 150lbs? Maybe if you weigh 300lbs you can consume that many calories a day, or have no job and plenty of money.

Again, you shouldnt copy and paste some idiots information. Not all steroids are dangerous.

You've got to be kidding me?! I've never in my life heard steroids kill a person. But I have heard a lot about steroids used in medicine and a hell of a lot more people are saved each year because of them.

This in my estimation is the most common mistake of AAS users. They assume that higher dosages lead to increased gains when the only certain increase will be in the sides associated with AAS abuse. This is especially the case with the 17AA Orals.

some people would dissagree with the not to use cycles for more than 12 weeks.....

I am new so I wouldn't but there are a lot of people on here commenting on using all year round, bbf springs to mind and I read a thread the other day saying how 20 weeks at lower dosages gives better gains....

Good post, but I disagree with this one. The strongest steroids usually are the most effective .. yes, ... but you can run them safely if you take the proper precautions and use them responsibly. Dbol comes to mind for me. Very strong, .. yet you can run it safely and effectively if you know what you are doing.

One of my first bulking cycles I was aprox 175lbs and for almost 12 weeks I ate 4k-5.5k cals a day. I see where you are comming from but it is possible, although it is a pain in the ass to constantly be eating all day long. I knew if I missed breakfast I was already in the whole. Thanks to my 1k cal protein shakes!!! They were a life saver.

If you weight 200lbs and I weight 200lbs, we both take same juice and you take 300g of protein and I take 200. You eat 5000calories and I eat 3000. I doubt you would have better gains than I would. The body can only use so much. Just like with juice, the body can only use so much.

Your thinking is wrong. THe body will try and drop muscle because it takes more energy to keep it. Fat is saved for times when food income is low. So in order to get the body to grow you need to make it think that there is an abundance of food. So what if it cannot use everything you put into it. You trick it, and it will grow and as it grows it will require more to maintain and even more to grow.
