Eisner saved Disney, paid himself a few hundred million a year for a few years in stock options, then he fux0red it.

When I saw that news, I was surprised that Comcast was the ones - I never thought of them as big players. $99B is an assload and wouldn't have thought they would even be close.

The digital movie distribution system and using that to stay alive instead of competing against it is probably one of the large reasons here.
