combing clomid/nolva for recovery
This is something my brother did when coming off a cycle, he couldent get enough clomid, he only had about 20 tablets, but he had some nolvadex...
he used 75 mg clomid with 10mg nolva the first day
then contiued with 50mg clomid and 10mg nolva until the clomid ran out, after that he used up the nolvadex at 10mg/day..

he said recovery was faster and didnt give him so much sideeffects as when just using clomid.... has anyone tried this?

Yes the nolva would help with an estrogen rebound if it were to occur. I always use nolva at the end of my cycle.

There's are a few articles on PubMed about using clomid+novladex in men to increase LH/FSH. Here's a quote from one of them that might be useful:

"The administration of tamoxifen, 20 mg/day for 10 days, to normal males produced a moderate increase in luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), testosterone, and estradiol levels, comparable to the effect of 150 mg of clomiphene citrate (Clomid). However, whereas Clomid produced a decrease in the LH response to LH-releasing hormone (LHRH), no such effect was seen after the administration of tamoxifen. In fact, prolonged treatment (6 weeks) with tamoxifen significantly increased the LH response to LHRL."

The last sentence is probably explains why the additional nolvadex will produce better results...

Thanks for the replies, very interesting! maybe i'll give it a shot on my next cycle.... since nolvadex is much cheaper than clomid (atlest for me) it seems great!
