The Trentonian's Tony Persichilli says he was wrong to put a "Roasted Nuts" headline on a Trenton Psychiatric Hospital fire story. "Lots of people called to say the headline was incredibly disrespectful," he writes. "It was. And I apologize. ...And when I wrote it, I didn't do it to be mean-spirited. I didn't intend to hurt anybody's feelings, upset anyone's sensibilities or make fun of anyone's handicaps." Persichilli's apology doesn't mention the original headline, but city editor Paul Mickle gave it to me. "I got 50 or so calls about it," he says.

Am I wrong for finding this funny?

Not funny if one of your relatives was hurt. The relatives of the deceased can read too.

Now, Waco, that's another story....

:FRlol:

I feel bad for the families who didn't think it was funny but it's too bad they couldn't see the humor in it. Laughter is the best medicine for them at a time like that.
