Hey guys couple Cologne Questions for you!

1. How long does a bottle last you? I am in the mood for something new but I have SOOO many now that are only half full.


2. Also, what is in you cologne collection??
 
aqua di gio is getting pretty old...i have pi ...i like the smell of higher energy but i went to sephora and tryed this stuff called kenzo...smelled very clean i kind of like it.
 
aqua di gio, like drakkar is so pedestrian nowadays I think everyone and their grandma's have it..
I have:
from the old I like Gucci Envy, Joop, CK Truth
from the newer I like Aramis Life, Lauder Intuition, Cole Black, D&G and Hugo Boss
didn't really like Kenzo...just my opinion

despite your horrid taste... (abercrombie), I whole heartedly agree with you, those are two money fragrances. JPGaultier is also a guaranteed hit. there are too many winnaaars to list, find what smells best on YOU.

I have several bottles, only one is already on this thread- D&G. I've been given Tommy, Quorum, Kenneth Cole and Iceberg Twice as gifts. The only cologne I've bought myself in the last few years is FCUK Him, which I got a few weeks ago. I liked the smell of the sample in one of the recent mags, Maxim or FHM.
 
I went to macy's during my Christmas shopping and overheard the employees talking about how Curve was flying off the shelves. I might try it after I use the bunch of bottles I have.
 
curve is too big... your scent should be YOU. My x gf from 2 yrs ago still asks me to give her things I spray with allure (my then fav scent) b/c it makes her feel good to smell it. My current fav daytime scent is called "clean" kinda pricey for an independent label but check it out, they have it at most upscale dept stores and for sure @ sephora
 
guess it works well on me.....I always get a lot of compliments when I wear it....

i like that aqua di georgio stuff......but if everyone has it.....screw that.

one of these days i'ma have to go cologne shopping
 
^ your nose adapts to teh fragrance... it doesn't mean others can't smell it. Btw u guys should check out "clean" as a daytime fragrance. It's pretty good, i def. get a lot of compliments.
 
I use Alfred Sungs Paradise.

I tried some of the spicier stuff, but they didn't smell right on me. Paradise gave off that clean scent. Check it out.

Which Kenzo??

I have the blue bottle (aka L'eau par Kenzo) and although it is a very lite and clean citrus smell, this stuff DOES NOT LAST on the skin........the smell disappears after 1/2-1 hour

Bro, as ZK says, your nose gets used to the scent, but others can still smell it.
 
Just picked up a bottle of Michael Kors. I really like it, but it hasn't been the hit with the public that I thought it would. Versace Man is a big hit with pretty much everyone I wear it around. Dolce & Gabbana is one that I like, but my g.f. hates it. Of course, she hates pretty much all the sure fuck I wear. Those are the three in my regular rotation.
Colognes I just threw away: Eternity for Men, Chanel Platinum, and Aqua Di Gio. Fat Joe says the Platinum is where it's at- I don't agree. Maybe if you smell like Fat Joe, anything is an improvement.
 
See I have the Plat. Once and a while I enjoy to wear. Most time it makes me nauseus its so overwhelming..
 
Okay, you got me. I didn't actually throw that one away. It's under the sink. I may break it out in the future, but with what I got in the stable right now, I don't see it making the rotation anytime soon. It's the best of the ones that I said I threw away. Just one squirt does the trick. Go check out the Versace. I get a ton of compliments on that one.
 
hey ZK, i found a bottle of "Hei" by alfred sung and it smells AWESOME on me. i get so many compliments from chicks (and even some dudes) its insane. what do you think about that fragrance? cause i really don't know squat about cologne. i just know this stuff works for me. also, if hei smells good on me, what other colognes might work well for me? any suggestions?

I wear that during the day as well............along with Hanae Mori...

When I go out I still rock Versace Homme..............

I know....I know.........it's an oldie............but still so good......:D
 
Inspired by this thread I started sniffing around. I remembered in one of the guy mags(maxim,stuff,fhm) about Mat; male, made by a former student of the Issey guy. I picked up a bottle- this is a nice scent. You'll have to read the description on the site to get an idea of how it smells. It's not bitterly smelling like Fahrenheit or Joop. It's more of a quiet makeout point type instead of nightclub. I got a shower gel with it- I was unaware that 'shower'
in French was 'douche'.

"A fresh herbacous scent with warm, woody undertones"

that describes it pretty well....kind of citrusy too.....
but like ZK said.....descriptions aren't very helpful. gotta go try it out
