ColdPlay

I liked their first C.D. alot. I like the second one even better even though in some strange way it is not as good. Are you serious? I don't know why, just saying that's all.

Fuck off.

lol - I enjoy any post that argues and fights with itself.

also, supersizeme, you are probably thinking of either Hootie or that John Mayasomething dude.

I think of coldplay as "radiohead lite"
if you are going to kill yourself, then listen to radiohead. if you want the sad sounding music but more upbeat lyrics, then listen to coldplay.

the lead singer is pretty funny in concert - the coldplay one. although I guess radiohead too.

I just farted.

Fighting is passe. Let's take it to the streets. The way men settle business. Connect Four.

I'm not bad at scrabble.

connect four is one of those "I could write a program to beat you things"

if only I wore glassess... but then I'd just wish I had bifocals.

coldplay is by far my favorite band. I bought their first CD right after i heard Yellow (im sure you've all heard that song A LOT), listened to it for about a year, then saw them when they came to toronto. well a month and a bit ago, i bought their new album (A Rush of BLood to the Head) and scored front row tickets to their show in Toronto. THese guys put on an amazing live show. They even did this hilarious 30 second soft remix of Nelly's Hot in here. Some people find their music somewhat depressing, but HS nailed it, it sounds sad, but listen to the lyrics.

btw mandatory fights will be scheduled for anyone that talks trash about coldplay (im not saying everyone has to love it, but if you dont, shut the hell up).

if i only wore bifocals... but then I'd just wish I'd had trifocals

yeah, he did the Hot in Here in Boston too. funny.

he also did some Aerosmith stuff too, b/c the last time he was here in Boston - which I happened to catch as well - it was part of a larger event with other bands, and coldplay didn't fit in, so people were throwing stuff at them.
so he sang about that, but in an aerosmith cover.

they are a good band, but if you think they are teh best of their respective genre you are highly misinformed. Some people refuse to believe that there is good music out there that isn't played on the radio
