Man in reference to Poink's punk thread, which depics his loathsome attitide for this type of crap i have to say there is hope for us real music lovers. I have to start by saying that I HATE all the commercial crap pumped out in the US today and shown on MTV. There are virtually no real artists being promoted anymore by the big corporations. Very disturbing.

This is where i got my latest CD in my collection by Cold Play, you know the British band. Needles to say the second album is awsome. They lyrics, the instrumentation and the sheer talent of the group is awsome, as is the lead singers voice. It's a breath of freshg air among all this commercialised, soulless, plastic crap.

I don't understand how you guys can like Cold Play.. but then not like Dashboard Confessionals! its on the same level to me! I like them both.. both slow, soothing, good singing, good instrumentals.
