Coffee filter microns

Anyone know(or have an educated guess) how many microns the typical coffee filter is?

Great question! I am guessing not very low though...a ton of gunk gets through. Have you seen the Whatman prefilter paper? Same concept and the range is between 40um down to 0.7. So maybe a standard coffe filter is on the high range there? Just a guess.

Lower than I would have guessed but still pretty high as far as filtering is concerned.
