Coffee filter FINA

How do you know if you need to filter through a coffee filter or not? Do you do this no matter what before you run it through the syringe filter.

If you don't run it through the coffee filters first, you won't be able to push it through the syringe filter..

No coffee is filter necessary

If you have dissolved the pellets and have heated the solution afterwards there is absolutely no need to use a coffee filter and you can filter through the syringe filter with absolutely no problem. I have converted over 10 carts and have never had to use the coffee filter and the oil went through the syringe filter with no problem.
