Is cod liver oil a liver protectant.

If not what benefits could I get out of this thing?

Cod liver oil is NOT a liver protentant. What is it good for and why I personally take it while on AS if because it helps with the body's circulatory system. It is a fair price and personally I think it is worth taking about 1-2 grams a day....
