Co-enzyme Q-10

SoreArms

New member
I was taking co-enzyme Q-10 for a while and it realy felt like it had some good advantages. I felt more energetic and focused and it also seemed to help with prolonged workouts and recovery time.
I then started focusing more on muscle building and retention, started taking creatine and stopped the co-enzyme q-10. Not that I think Q-10 is bad for muscle build or retention, I just didn't know if it was wise/safe to take both at the same time. Plus, the budget is not set up for infinate number of supplements.

Has anybody taken or is anybody taking Q-10? It just seemed like a great sup. and would like to have more info on it before deciding to totally stop taking it or to continue.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Coenzyme Q10 is great. It has many benefits including:

* Strong anti-oxidant, anti-aging nutrient.
* Improves cardiovascular function and blood circulation.
* Improves problems caused by poor heart function.
* May provide energy and help prevent fatigue.
* May help prevent Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases

Coenzyme Q10 is a vital metabolic catalyst in our cellular organelle (mitochondria) and a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes harmful free radicals.

I've used it off and on. It become a bit pricey once you jump into the 30-50mg caps

use Idebenone (mnesis/cerestabon) 60-180mg's a day - it is a synthetic CoQ10 and much more potent. Consume it with fats for improved absorption. It is also good Nootropic due to its neuro-protective characteristics.

oh great somehting else to add to the plethora of pills I already take..thanks for the info

duh, no shit. My room looks like Vitamin Shoppe with all the pills, powders and oil bottles :p

I started out taking the caps, but didn't feel that I received much from them. I then bought this liquid form of co Q-10 and that stuff is good, but pricy.

BTW
Sawastea, I read on another post that you also like ALC. Do you take both co Q-10 and ALC? Just curious 'cause I've also been thinking of getting some ALC.
