Clothes make the man?

Sometimes.. For example my boss.. is a bit on the chubby size and he has man boobs.. I tell him constantly not to wear golf shirts because it makes them more visible and he looks alot better in dress shirts.. but the guy.. still at least 2 days a week wears those damn golf shirts!!!

Pics please :p

I keep changin my pic.. no one else seems th have there real pic up!

I don't want to hear another AAP thread ccing your pic saying that its dreamy.

Think of it this way, AAP could be your "mother". <insert vague Empire Strikes Back reference>

Yes. the difference between the same man dressed up well and in a jumpsuit and trainersand a baseball cap is enormous

Clothes make the apperance, not the man. Me, I'm a sucker for a guy in nice double-breasted suit or sporting that messy prep look.

Clothes can make a BIG difference in the apperance of a guy. And for that matter, they can make a big difference with the way women look, but women who are in good shape look good almost always. It's crazy. Even if they're dirty and grimey from something they still look hot.

<---------My real cat, does that count?

i love nice clothes

I look dorky and stupid in 80% of what I try on, so I just buy expensive designer stuff (for work anyway) and that seems to make all the difference. I have no idea why a $1000 suit looks better than a $300 one, but it does....

So for me, yeah, clothes help my image a lot.

Yes, this is very true, while somewhat sad. I mean, a man is still the same person no matter what he's wearing.

I think it's more important that what you're wearing is relative to the occasion.

So false... nothing feels better than to be so completely inadequately stunningly overdressed....

This is something me and my frat would do... Go to a ball dance, all in tux... have a bite at a roadside truckers restaurant on your way there, where they serve only saucages beer and sandwiches... and come in drunk as a whale and hurl all over the place and act obnoxious and then just leave.
Then if anyone gives you any trouble challenge them to a beer drinking race

Incompetant and dickheads need expensive/fashion/sophisticated clothes to give the illusion of what they want to be

But smart/charismatic/good looking people don't need expensive/fashion/sophisticated clothes

Your standard blabla
along the lines of
"It's the inside that counts"

This is what ugly people tell themselves to feel better

I worked for some companies which asked us to wear the regular suit/tie... and in some other companies I was in casual wear
Still I did the same job I think I was judged on the results I provided not on the color of my shirt

Does the tie make you work better ?

I dont work at all

I dress sophisticatedly because I like it, because it looks good on me, because my frat requires it and because it causes people to react to you better.
