are clomid neccessary after 6 weeks of btg only cycle?

BTG is a pharmaceutical company. Would you mean Anavar? If so, it would depend on the dose. At "high" doses it can in fact shut you down, so the prudent thing would be to go ahead with Clomid post cycle.
