Clomid and acne

I have read several posts concerning the negative side affects of clomid. I am concerned about one in particular...acne! I am not acne prone, and do not have any problems while on gear of any kind. I was wondering if I could possibly have acne problems associated with clomid therapy since AS do not seem to promote acne with me. Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

YOu could. I get some acne while on gear but it seems to get worse once I get into the Clomid usage.

You probably will not know until you try it yourself.

just in defense of the clomid - and I've seen other people post this as well - it is less likely the clomid that is causing the acne - but more of the time at which you are taking it.

you take it when you are off of your cycle, so your body is going from high foreign andgrogens to slowly increasing levels of your own stuff.
it is that hormonal fuckup that makes the acne.

I've done clomid during cycles before just to get ball size up a bit and never got acne during that - but now that I've been off gear, I've got acne on my upper arms and shoulders worse than I've ever had it before in my life.

slowly going away, but it takes weeks as your hormone levels stabilize and your system gets used to it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I'll just see how I react to it. Sounds like I'm gonna have to deal with a little acne. Oh well, fuck it, a small price to pay considering my recent gains on a deca winny cycle.

The above comment was right on.Clomid only 'selectively' blocks estrogen off of targeted E/R populations...This means that E is free to circulate and bind to E/R's in areas that clomid doesn't interact strongly with(the dermal regions being one of them).So what is the solution?A COMBINATION of clomid and ARIMIDEX.The arimidex will inhibit this free circulation by down-regulating aromitase and you will have less estrogen related dermal oil/bacteria secretions...

Yes,it's just anastrozole suspended in a liquid base.1/8-1/4cc daily will work quite well to combat estrogen related acne.
