Clippers bite: literallyl

split endz

New member
I use those adjustable clippers to trim body hair that I don't quite want shaved. I like the shave-length on the lowest setting, but dammit, sometimes the clippers pinch skin. Hurts like a mother & bleeds. Anyone have a good recommendation for a good set of clippers that won't bite ?

I know what you mean, I just use the guard at the lowest setting.....try looking into barber quality clippers....

Looks pretty cool, I might order today. Q: Can you adjust the cut-length on the Longer-cut shaver ?

No. You use the longer cut shaver first, which takes the hair down to like an 1/8 of an inch probably. Then you use the other one to go smooth. For the rest of the body, I use a regular trimmer that has settings like what the other guys have posted. But they do not work if you want to go smooth. Hence the bitting problem.

I called about it & she said that the round ultra-precise one only trims hair that is already very very short (stubble). The other one trims hair that is longer & she said that one could pinch... back to square one. I use a razor on hair that I want shaved that close, really looking for a good trimmer (hair that is a little longer ) that won't bite.
