Clen and water

Ok, I know that you are supposed to take in massive amounts of water while on clen. But, does it have to be just regular water? Could it be something like crystal light or something similar? All it really is is flavored water right? Does it make a difference if it is pure water or flavored water?

I'm not an expert on Clen but I'm in medschool, so let me pitch in my 2¢ bro.

You need to drink a lot of water to hydrate your body. Adding flavor doesn't change the amount of H2O particles inside a bottle, those will still be used by your metabolism to insure regular body functions, anywhere from osmotic cellular activities to digestion.

The flavor is just an added chemical compound, which will be handled by your gastric system. So it doesn't matter, no, as far as I know.

I'm only a 2nd year though, so don't hold my word for granted ;)

well look at it this way. you have 20oz of water, and a small crystal light on the go pak. you drink the water, and then you eat the crystal light. still have pure H2O in your body right? so yes, i think crystal light will be ok when figuring up your daily h2o intake.

for what i's worth, i *think* some of the sweeteners in things like that can act as a diuretic (aspartame, citric acid), but not too sure about it.

that said, i don't drink plain water exclusively either, but still try to limit the amount of extraneous chemicals i put in there. but hell, everything is bad for you these days.
