Hey Barnige-----I don't want to bare bad news BUT I have read several posts at the supplement board that have emphatically stated that CLA is USELESS!

It definately DOES sound GREAT in theory....but I haven't read too many positives.

Again....the negatives come from past disappointed users.

Long story on that, and mostly Bill Phillips is to blame, but some greedy scuz pigs tried to tie up the CLA market early on... and in attempting to do this only a very inferior version of CLA reached most end users.

People who get high quality CLA generally have positive results.

How/where do we get the quality suff? How do we know the difference? This sopunds like an excellent addition to my "standard" supplements list!

As of '97 there was only one company selling the real research substance. I haven't looked at raw materials lists for years. I'm not even sure who might be carrying a quality version today. Sorry.

It has to be TONALIN CLA.

Standardized to 74-82% CLA.

Look up Instynct99 at Animals board. He has them for $155/1000 1000mg and $275/2000 1000mg.

Does anyone know where to buy CLA in liquid form. It seems more ecconomical if you don't have to pay for the gelcapping process.
