CKD nutrition worksheet

Hi all,

I was bored today being stuck inside because of the snow and all....so, I made this nifty little worsheet in Excel to help tell me what I should be eating on the CKD I will be starting soon. (but you really could use this for any diet)

Basically, you enter the nutrient content of the foods you eat, (calories, protein, fats and carbs), and the worksheet totals everything for you, and gives you calorie totals, and also percentage of calories from pro/fat/carbs.

also, you can enter your bodyweight and it will give you your BMR (at the top), so you can compare this to your total calorie intake for the day.

you'll notice the overall values don't match up exactly, but that is because i rounded some of the fractional values...etc. but it's close.

so, hopefully this will help someone out there....

if you use it, let me know how it works for ya.

is it possible to make one with all common keto foods available, and you put in how many cals from fat and protein and carbs you need daily, and how many mals youd like to eat per day, and have it tell yuo exactly how much of what sort of food per meal you need?

hmmm....would be nice, but might be a bit beyond the capabilities of excel...but, i might be able to do some worksheets for specific food items where we could do type in caloric or nutrient values, and it would tell you how much food you would need to meet that requirement...but it wouldn't like automatically plan all your meals for the day etc....would be a lot of work to create a huge library of different foods....

but, i could do some little heavily used food items - like tuna, chicken breast, flax, whatever....where you could figure out values real quick and then fill in the other sheet....
