from what I have heard.. no. You can't even compare it to nolvadex. I don't really think it even has any kind of legitimate effect on preventing gyno. Definatley not enough to help out on a nice cycle.
Chrysin CAN be effective in combatting estrogen -- I have seen blood tests in people whom I have concocted topicals for.
However...
Chrysin has also been found to inhibit steroidogenesis (via inhibition of 17beta-HSD), which would quite likely cancel out the positive effects on testosterone from decreased estrogen. For that reason, I would not recommend its use unless you naturally have really high estrogen levels or are using an aromatizing androgen (topical 4-AD products qualify to some extent) and do not have access to Clomid/Nolvadex.
It should also be mentioned that flavones have terrible oral bioavailablility, so you would need at least 10-30 grams to get significant activity. A better method would be to dissolve it in DMSO (25mg/ml) and use it topically in about 1/10 or 1/20th that amount.
